52 Glimpses in 2012 | Week 12

Here is my glimpse for week 12. This is an odd photo, but it gives a good glimpse of my week. We had some unseasonably warm and gorgeous weather lately, so we’ve been playing outside a lot. One of the things my kids love to do is make “soufflé.” They have no idea what soufflé actually is, but this is the word they use to describe concoctions of things they gather from the garden and lawn and mix in a pail of water. It’s essentially soup, but I guess they think it sounds fancier when you substitute in a french word. I love these kids:)
This year, I’ve decided to join in the 52 Glimpses project over in the Chic Critique forum. The goal is to photograph a glimpse from your life each week and post it.

I still need to catch up on my client blogging from the fall, so without further ado, here are Marisa and her brothers. Even though these siblings no longer live with their parents (some are also married with children) and each are living their separate lives, they still wanted to have a wall portrait of just them to present to their parents for Christmas. What a thoughtful gift! They were a breeze to photograph and they obviously love to tease each other very much. Thank you for a fun session!

Here is my glimpse for week 11. We finally got the backsplash in our kitchen! I’m so happy it’s finished and I love the final product.
