Here are some more of my favourites from my session with newborn baby Caleb. He was good as gold and slept through most of the session – every photographer’s dream! I hope he is doing well and continuing to grow, Anthony & Michelle:)
I was really in the mood to play with textures while I was editing these baby photos. Not every photo is suited for them, but when a great photo is further enhanced by a texture, it can really take your family artwork to the next level! I’ve included some of my texture edits in these blogged photos as well, so take a peek.

Here are some more of my favourite photos from Joel & Courtney’s engagement session. We had such gorgeous weather and light that evening! It was lots of fun, and we visited a few different places in Hamilton and Burlington. I’m looking forward to taking some more this fall (we have something really fun planned!) and also to your wedding day. All the best as you continue to prepare for that special day!

Last week, I received my first gallery wrap canvas order from Willow Paper Works. To say that I’m thrilled with them is an understatement! This grouping of three are 20×20 in size and have a 2 inch deep border on the sides (they also come in 1 inch if you prefer). The quality is outstanding, and the canvas finish makes the photography just pop off the walls. Beautiful! I am so happy with them, and know they will be treasured in our home for years to come.
We have average 8 foot ceilings in our main living area. Usually when people hear “20×20″ they think that it is so huge! But when you see it up on the wall, you can see that bigger is indeed better. I think these three portraits wouldn’t have half the impact if they were 12×12.
I also designed an edge with a pattern, texture and each of my children’s names on it (on all four sides), instead of the traditional route of wrapping the photo around the edge. This adds another level of personalization to my heirloom art pieces!
Before I hung them, I took photos of each of my children with the portrait of themselves. This also gives you a little more perspective on the actual size of the canvases. Micah and Rachel are almost 4 years old in these photos, and Danielle is 2 1/2.

Renee contacted me to photograph their family for her parents’ 30th wedding anniversary. The weather was perfect and the rhododendrons were in full bloom at Mississauga’s Brueckner Gardens. Here are some more photos from our session.

Renee and her husband Rosy are newlyweds. They have much to aspire to when they look to Renee’s parents! Congratulations on 30 years of marriage, Michael & Candace!

I had the pleasure of photographing my cousin Dave and his lovely fiancée Heather last week while we were on vacation at Chesley Lake, where we visit every year with our huge clan. The weather was HOT, but beautifully sunny, and we had a fun session! We wish you all the best as you prepare for your life together.
Here is a sneak peek of your engagement session, with more to come!
