Back in September, I had a lovely family session with my dear friend Melanie and her beautiful family. It’s always fun photographing kids whom you know, since you can engage them on specific things in their lives and they are comfortable with you. It also makes my job really fun:) Thanks, I had a great time!
Here are a few of the memories we captured:

This lovely looking bunch is my sister and her family! It’s been a while since they’ve had a family photo done, so we thought it was high time seeing as how there has been a new addition to the family in the meantime. I had a great time hanging out with my nieces and nephew, too:)

September 5, 2011 children, family, just for fun, siblings
This week I am experiencing a triple whammy. All three of my children will be heading to school for the very first time; Micah & Rachel to kindergarten and Danielle to junior kindergarten. It feels like I’ve been waiting forever for this day to come and now that it’s almost here, I’m feeling a little panicky. I’m normally like that with change and unknowns, though:) We are all really ready for this, but it doesn’t mean it’s going to come easy.
To celebrate this next chapter in our lives, we took a family walk and did a “Off to School” photo shoot. And all it cost me was a box of Timbits, too:) I will always cherish these photos as they mark such an important time in our family’s history. Buckle up, kiddies, because here we goooooo!

Get ready for a looooong post! My brother Joel and Courtney got married on June 25th and it was a beautiful day! I was the main photographer, and all three of my children were in the wedding so it was also a very busy day, but my husband was a great support and took care of the kids all day – thanks, honey!
I also had Tamsen of Creative Clicks Photography along to second shoot – thanks for your great work, Tamsen! I really, really appreciated having you there, and I look forward to working with you again in the future:) Tamsen also happens to be Courtney’s cousin, which was very helpful. You can see some of Tamsen’s wedding images on her blog.
Here are some of my favs from the wedding day. I’m posting more than usual, but hey, it’s my brother:) Enjoy!

wow- Mel is stunning! It doesn’t seem like she’s old enough to have such a beautiful young daughter either! Great images Amy!
