Meet baby Kaelan. He looks just like my brother as a baby. This may be because he is my brother’s son. I thoroughly enjoyed my time photographing this little munchkin. I love babies in general, but photographing your own family is even more special. And editing photos of your nephew when the resemblance to your brother is so intense is extra fun, too! Here are some of my favs from that day:

Meet Gavin, brother to Chloe, first born son to Ryan and Amanda. He is beautiful and perfect! Ryan and Amanda were in the area on furlough from their mission post in Mongolia. Ryan is a pilot with Mission Aviation Fellowship.
Here Chloe and Gavin are sporting their traditional Mongolian coats, called deels.

I LOVE these images of baby Keira and her beautiful Mommy. This is a little girl that has three older brothers, so she is a long-awaited daughter. I love the emotion in these images of a mother with her firstborn girl – the adoration, the love, the bond.
I find that some moms aren’t interested in being in their child’s newborn photos. I know I wasn’t feeling real pretty after giving birth, either! But aren’t these images so special? You only have one chance to have these photos with your brand new baby! I love it when Moms – and Dads, too! – join the session.

This adorable little guy was 6 weeks old when he came for his session and almost slept through the whole thing! His Mommy and I were both so shocked at how well he slept through the set changes and poses… well done, little man! He is just so precious:) Thanks again for bringing him in, Elisa!
