Hamilton Photographers | Nik & Kylene
August 8, 2011 couples
On a hot, hot day in July, I had the pleasure of second shooting Nik & Kylene’s wedding with Cindy of Absolute Photography. It sure was a scorcher! But of course, we pressed on and enjoyed a beautiful wedding day. One of the highlights was when they left the wedding ceremony in a tractor and our local news station was there! Apparently it was on the 6pm news, but of course we were still at the wedding at that time:)
Here are a few of the images I captured that day. Enjoy!

Get ready for a looooong post! My brother Joel and Courtney got married on June 25th and it was a beautiful day! I was the main photographer, and all three of my children were in the wedding so it was also a very busy day, but my husband was a great support and took care of the kids all day – thanks, honey!
I also had Tamsen of Creative Clicks Photography along to second shoot – thanks for your great work, Tamsen! I really, really appreciated having you there, and I look forward to working with you again in the future:) Tamsen also happens to be Courtney’s cousin, which was very helpful. You can see some of Tamsen’s wedding images on her blog.
Here are some of my favs from the wedding day. I’m posting more than usual, but hey, it’s my brother:) Enjoy!

We visited Chesley Lake again this July and while we were there, we had an engagement session for my cousin Kelsey and her fiancé Nathan, who are engaged to be married in August. We had a lot of fun scoping out different areas of Chesley, since we wanted some variety from Dave & Heather’s engagement session at Chesley the year before.
Thanks for a fun session, thanks to Meghan (maid of honor) for coming along to assist, and all the best in these last weeks before your wedding!

married his little lady, Courtney,

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of photographing my brother’s wedding. He’s not so little anymore! We had a fantastic day and couldn’t have asked for better weather. Enjoy these few images from their special day with lots more to come:)

A few weeks ago, my cousin Dave married Heather. I played violin in the ceremony and a little at the reception, but before the wedding ceremony, I had a chance to take out my camera. Here are some of those images:
Heather’s niece was there supervising and spending some time with Grandpa.

And then it was time for me to dash to the church and tune up my violin!

BEAUTIFUL pictures! Wow! Again, I love the pictures on the beach, all the light, neutral tones– beautiful! Awesome that you were able to shoot throughout the evening as well– they’re sure to remember their big day from beginning to end! … love the pictures of the two of them on the swing, and with the light coming in from behind. Amazing!
