Tricia contacted me for a family session as a birthday present for herself. I can totally relate. Sometimes you just don’t need gifts, and a wall portrait of your family is all you want!

This lovely looking bunch is my sister and her family! It’s been a while since they’ve had a family photo done, so we thought it was high time seeing as how there has been a new addition to the family in the meantime. I had a great time hanging out with my nieces and nephew, too:)

On the first Friday in August, my cousin Kelsey got married to Nathan. Once again, I was part of the family orchestra during the ceremony (I play violin) so I couldn’t take any photos, but they did ask me to shoot the reception. It was a nice dinner and dance at Marquis Gardens in Ancaster. It’s always a good time when you’re with family:)
Kelsey & Nathan love to laugh and their Maid of Honour and Best Man certainly made them laugh!
Kelsey’s nieces sang a really cute song together, and the family orchestra also performed another number. (special thanks to my husband for taking that photo while I was busy playing – I’m in the back row – third violinist from the left).
It was a beautiful day!

For someone who doesn’t shoot weddings, I sure am posting about a lot of weddings, aren’t I? I do enjoy second shooting for other professional photographers a few times per year.
Jordan & Carrie’s June wedding was at a beautiful golf course in Niagara Falls, which I shot with my friend Elma of Photography by Elma. Thanks again for having me along, it is always enjoyable:)
Here are some of the images I captured that day. Enjoy!
