A few weeks ago, I had my first session for The Tiny Light Foundation, which is a non profit organization that provides professional photography for children and families that have been faced with a life altering diagnoses.
Meet Donovan, who, less than a year ago was a healthy boy, and who now has been diagnosed with a fatal mitochondrial disease called Alpers Disease. He deals with daily seizures and this disease has left him blind, deaf and mute. As tough as this situation is, his family clearly loves him and each other very much, and it was an honour to capture some images of their family altogether. I wish Donovan and his family much strength and courage as they continue to battle this disease daily!

If you know of anyone that could benefit from this and fits The Tiny Light Foundation’s description, please have them contact TLF.

Beautiful pictures, Amy. Wow, what a story- it makes the photographs that much more beautiful! Our very best wishes for Donovan and his family: courage, a lot of love, and a very strong faith.
